Step 1. Investigate Application

Step 2. Generate an Inquiry
You get your own metal seal application data sheet in step 1. Now it's time to generate an intial inquiry. Basically, the cost of metal seals is determined by type, material, and size. Some other factors, like spring back and leak rate requirements, will also affect the price. So, in order to save budget, it's critical to identify the best-fit solution rather than the best solution.

Step 3. Confirm Solution & Quote
You'll contact a metal seal manufacturer to confirm the feasibility and cost after you've come up with an initial solution in step 2. It may take some time to revise your metal seal or groove design in this step.

Step 4. Purchase Order
After the solution and quotation are confirmed, the next step is to place the purchase order.
In the purchase order, it's necessary to specify the lead time (shipped by), delivery address, payment terms, and currency. If you have a company account for delivery services, you can also specify it in the purchase order.
Sonkit has developed automated product lines and a mature production process, allowing Sonkit to not only assure product quality, but also to reduce lead time as much as feasible.
The average lead time of Sonkit Industry for a first purchase is 4 weeks. For the second and subsequent orders, it can be as short as two weeks.
Step 5. Tooling and Produce
This is the manufacturing phase. As a manufacturer, Sonkit will develop the tooling/mold to fit the size of the metal seals if this is a new order. The processing complexity for each type of metal seal is different. It depends on the type of metal seals. The number of molds can range from 2 to 10 or even more.
Sonkit has common materials in stock, such as SS316, Inconel 718, etc. If your application needs rare materials, then it will take some time for the manufacturer to order the materials.

Step 6. Test and Package
Sonkit Industry will check each metal seal unit. The package will include the inspection report. If you need additional testing for metal seals, such as leak rate, hardness, or material inspection, please notify your sales representative ahead of time.
Step 7. Delivery and Support
Sonkit will make delivery arrangements depending on your delivery preferences. We provide technical assistance for your deployment 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24X7). For sample testing, if the leak rate is less than the required level and the leakage is caused by our goods, we will take full responsibility and provide a free replacement.
